EU Policy Scientist and Science Communication, Research Assistant

Maria Maniopoulou is a European Policy scientist (M.S.c). She has more than 15 years of experience in project management, communication and in international conferences organisation. She is working on marine governance and science communication. She has participated in more than 10 research and development projects contributing to policy and governance aspects, in participatory processes involving stakeholders in MSP, Fisheries and Marine Protected Areas (MPAs), as well as for communicating and disseminating research results to the general public. She has been the WP or Task leader of Dissemination activities in 7 European projects.
